I feel more nervous today than i did at the swamp because of what happened in Naples, how will we bounce back? We relly need to show some team spirit today

I'm happy with a point even though we should have had them all. Keeps us 5 points ahead of the Rags & maintains our unbeaten start. Much better than last years performance

Agree TMG. Didn't see Bobby's post match interview, but Mario aside I think he would have been justified with the old "Thee eez normal" stance. Sh*t like the OG happens. It's how you deal with it that counts and there were some battling displays to keep our hands on that point that we can take heart (Hart?) from.

Yeh, be positive, we got out of there with a point, battled hard for it too. Well earned.
Gonna have to accept the enigmatic Mario as he is. He was due something like that. Mind you, Atkinson was a bit card-happy.
Also, in the 1st half, when Reina raced out of his penalty area and saved superbly at the feet of Sergio... is that not deliberate handball and a sending off? Or are keepers allowed to do that now?

Don't think Mario's arm was as blatent as Rooney's elbow either.

Charlie Adam is an absolute cock, gesturing Mario had thrown an elbow, etc, to the ref. I think after being shown the red card Mario should have floored Adam, things like that really piss me off. Although lip-reading Vinny saying "shut the fuck up" to Adam made me smile.

Re: Team News vs Liverpool
That's one of the big problems with football today as well as diving.
I only saw most of the 1st half and I saw Suarez making a meal of tackles or slight contact. Some were not fouls at all. The theatrics won free kicks and got the officials ready to give a card for the next slight offence.
I really wish they would retrospectively book players for diving and holding imaginary cards. That would stop this soon enough.
If I was a ref today, there would be tons more pens and far fewer players left on the pitch. I wouldn't stand for any of this nonsense.

Hardcore there Dawg - but can't disagree.
If people whine about the usual 'cutting him some slack/it's only the first 5 minutes/first/second time he's done it/ it's scholesy can't tackle for toffee hahaha,/what a character etc. I say tough titty - you knew the rules, and brought it on yourself. You had the choice not to, foul is a foul, yelow is a yellow, cheating is cheating.

I am of course going to be somewhat biased when it comes to my own team though

Re: Team News vs Liverpool
I agree Dawg, it really needs a yellow card giving to them to stop them doing it. To be fair, in the 2nd half Aguero did it after getting clipped by Lucas (i think), it made him look a knob aswell.

Re: Team News vs Liverpool
if a ref makes a decision and players crowd him, he should book them all and move on.
you hear all this BS from managers saying they don't like players getting sent off etc. but then their own players try their best to get someone sent off.
Dogleash said mario deserved it and he needs to look in the mirror.

Re: Team News vs Liverpool
I do think the Liverpool players have been having lessons from "Bobby Smart" because the falling down like you've been shot routine was so tiring in the end.
Overall happy with the point. 7 points from 3 tough away games is awesome and leaves us right up there.
Liverpool could be a major contender if they could do that level of performance against the WBA's and Norwich's of this world, but they only seem to bring it to the big boys.
Bobby knows what he is doing with Mario, I like his quote "If Mario breaks the door, he pays for it, just like his house".
Be interesting to see what the B team makes of the gooners this week. I bet RVP plays.

Lets face it the ref was a homer, I'm glad it's over and we got away with a point.
Firstly they starting fouling our players and when we did the same we got booked for it! The ref was a complete tool, I mean come on everyone knows what Suarez is all about and how many free kicks did he give to them... It was laughable...

Re: Team News vs Liverpool
What puzzled me most was why wasn't Twatkinson wearing a loserpool shirt?
He seemed to want to book any City player for the slightest reason and give Loserpool players as much slack as possible - why the fuck wasn't Reina sent off?
Don't get me wrong, after last season's display there I'm happy with a point but do feel that it could, and should, have been more and in my opinion the biggest factor in it not being 3 points was the crap refereeing.
Never mind, still unbeaten and still 5 points clear so all in all not too bad a weekend.

Re: Team News vs Liverpool
Did you see the ponytail arseholes tackle from behind on Kompany!!
The fucking ref was making his own rules up and will get away with it, since when a vicious tackle from behind is not a red!!?!?!?
