bluey, pretty much been said already. get shot of a few and buy a few.

Jeez blue, i can't be arsed copying and pasting all that but here's my general synopsis:

Sell: Kolarov, Balo, Dzeko, Savic. All are either a liability, bone idle or crap (some are all 3).

Buy 2 more strikers to partner/link up with Aguero, really don't care who at the minute (apart from Ibrahimovic). Buy a CB to partner Vinny, keeping Lescott as back up.

Keep all the midfield, they can still be used on a rotational basis. Imo all our problems are at the back and up top.

If RM doesn't win ANY of the 2 remaining trophies on offer, he should be gone imo. He really has NO excuses this season for winning NOWT, he's assembled the team he wanted, so trophies should be delivered. This would also be a backwards step from last season, finishing 2nd is NOT progress imo from last season.

i disagree a little that finishing 2nd is no progress. we finished 3rd last season (doesn't matter how you want to dress it up) but we need to get at least 86 points to show us the improvement.

we have shown, at times, that we can be an irresistible force and our goals scored really does show that.

we've gone from parking the bus to fitting a supercharged engine and putting our foot down.

we couldn't honestly hope to maintain that level all season, but we have dropped a bit too much off that high early season level.

getting knocked out of the cups, well that can happen but i haven't enjoyed the way we played against an average liverpool team. they won with spirit and determination rather than skill.

are we better than last season? for sure, but bobby has made some mistakes with his buys. refs have made costly mistakes but we should be able to ride these mistakes most matches.

am i unhappy? yes i am. we knew we'd be losing both Kolo and Yaya to ACON (and next year too if Kolo is still with us) but we never made any provisions. bobby thought he had the players or the money to buy the players, but he has been sadly mistaken.

We should have bought that stop gap CB as soon as Vinnie was banned or Savic looked unable.

Honestly, Cahill for £7M as a stop gap - I'd have taken that. We'd be in the final of the CC if we had.

I get what you're saying Dawg, but imo finishing outright 2nd with NO trophy isn't progress after finishing 3rd (level pts with 2nd) and an FA Cup?

Are we better than last season? Admittedly i'd have to say yes too but if we don't win a trophy then you really have to question why.

but shaky, we finished with 71 points last year, if we finish with 85/86 and 2nd in the table, that has to be a huge improvement.

ok, the cup competitions have been disappointing, but we lost in the FA Cup to utd with 10 men so we can hardly say we made some glaring errors there.

we've won 11 straight home league games which shows me improvement. we need to keep improving as we have to learn how to unlock the doors to the bus when we can't find the right key.

i've said before, if we score early, we can tear teams apart but we can struggle when we don't score early.

when plan a doesn't work, where is plan b?

i'd want plan b to involve tricky wingers that have pace and can get past defenders. have we got that - i really don't think so because we rely on our full back to do that job.

Course it is mate, but the simple facts will still be written in black and white though......2nd. Will you honestly be happy with that even if we have 86pts, i know i won't. We need to be winning trophies EVERY season from now on, the benchmark was set last season.

It's strange, that in effect been knocked out of all 3 cup competitions due to home performances (draw with Napoli, losses to Utd and Liverpool), yet we have an 100% record in the league.

1) Kolorov - Sell. Apart from the odd free kick and long pass, he's not good enough
2) Savic - Keep him, but get him playing with the reserves or put him on loan.
3) NDJ - Play, but only if he ditches jizzface
4) Nasri - Play
5) Johnson - Sell. He's clearly not listening to the manager and I'm not sure he wants to stay
6) Dzeko - Play, but play him in the right position
7) Lescott - Play
Clichy - Play
9) Balotelli - Play, but sort his attitude out

10) What do we need? CB, CF

13) What should happen to Mancini if we don't win the league? - We should keep him. The rags kept faith with Taggart and look where they are.

1) Play Dzeko as the striker and feed him. He's no good playing outside
2) Get our attacks to move forward with some pace
3) When you have a clear shot on goal, don't fanny about, just SHOOT!
