Re: the big man backs bobby
I not trying to knock what the owner says but it'd be madness to insinuate anything else, especially at this stage of the season.
I personally don't think his job's that safe and still think he'll be dragged infront of the top brass for a very uncomfortable meeting IF we don't win the league.

Re: the big man backs bobby
I hope you're wrong, Shaken. Winning the league wasn't on the agenda for this season and I'd consider Mansour to be no better than Abramovic if he fires Bobby for finishing second, a place higher than last season, and giving United a proper fight.
I'm fed up of the managerial merry-go-round. We need to be looking at stability and consistency. Firing Bobby would achieve none of these things.
For an example, look at Chelsea, who are already staring the prospect of no CL football next season in the face and have been falling away for years thanks to an endless stream of different managers with different ideas.

Re: the big man backs bobby
i remember saying that if we ended the season strongly, then Bobby should stay especially if he learns from some of the basic mistakes he has made this season.
i'd like him to have an uncomfortable meeting (at least to start with) as we got bundled out of the cups a bit too early and our form fell away recently. if the sheikh is to entrust him with another £50M+ this summer, then bobby has to show that he has learnt his lessons...

Maybe he's just a slow learner. I mean it's taken him all season to realize Kolarov is shit !
Now I've said that he's a shoe in for the Derby FFS ! Me & my big mouth !

Re: the big man backs bobby
kolarov is a better crosser than clichy, though clichy showed his worth on sunday.
i'd rather have a better defender than crosser.
the reason we have kolarov is because bobby wanted our full backs to bomb forwards and put crosses in, but with tevez and aguero upfront, we need cuter stuff.
if bobby got proper wingers, or at least let AJ play on the left wing, then we can stick crosses in that way if we want to.

Bobby sure has made some poor decisions as far as team selection and tactics this season - but it would be utter madness to fire him. As Leo said the managerial merry go round will hurt us more - than if he's given another shot next season.
If we do keep him then I believe we will win a lot more next season.
