QPR....& HUGHES......bring it on.
Well....United did their bit to take it to the wire.
So...what a season. May the best team win.
It'd be great to win it at our place.
Great season...just wondering.......will there be another film released: Blue Moon Risen!!!
Cannot believe they didn't do another one.

Don't worry......you'll never get your hands on the trophy until the Museum Tour in 2013!!

I'm a negative optimist bob!
blueboy, Museum Tour 2013!!! I know now you have been day dreaming again!
ps fuck Sunderland! If teams hadn't have bend over for that shit rag side and instead had a go at them (well done Wigan) that rags would have been battling it out for 9h place with looserpool... We know we have to do it ourselves!

If we can keep 2 clean sheets against UTD and the "so in form it hurts" Newcastle, keeping Cisse and Ba quiet for 99% of the game, then I have complete confidence we will blow QPR away, even if they score, we will score more, but on our home form, and current form, we will be more than enough for them.
I can't see Rovers winning the next 2 games, so they're as good as down, Bolton won't get anything out of Stoke at home other than a draw, so QPR will survive even if they lose, I just think the momentum and desire to win in City will overwhelm QPR, we've not bottled it over the last few games, we've risen to the challenge and been fantastic, and with Aguero, Yaya, Tevez going for it, it'll be over by halftime, or the hour mark (hopefully!)

I agree, we have not won the toughest 2 out of the remaining 3 games to lose at home to QPR at the final hurdle especially when we have not lost a game at home all season. How many people thought if we can beat the rags and the Geordies, the hard work is done? Quite a few I suspect and most of those now telling other City fans to be quiet and stop putting the kiss of death on us, being confident that we have the team to beat QPR at home and daring to have an opinion is not a crime.

Note of caution...
United came through the tough fixtures - and lost to Wigan.
I know, I know... City-itis.

Friggin hell lads, if we can't beat QPR at home we don't deserve to bloody win it.
We'll spank the southern softies 5 or 6 nil, surely you can all see that...........sod this Cityitis crap, imo it's all over .

Re: QPR....& HUGHES......bring it on.
City are arguably playing the best football of the season, under pressure to win the last 6 games after Arsenal ( 5 so far, 1 goal conceded away in a 6-1 thumping of Norwich) they have done so, beating title rivals, and form team of the moment in quick succession, showing hardly any defensive frailities, a midfield that has clicked in a big way, and as an attacking force scoring the most goals in the league.
When pundits bandy around terms like "momentum" this is what they are referring too, City will arrive at the Etihad like a Juggernaut on Sunday and do the business.

We'd better win now, or the only victor will be Cityitis
I must admit, I'm not feeling the optimism. Yes, I know it's only QPR, but they aren't as bad as their league position suggests, they nearly bagged a point off us at Loftus Road. I just worry we'll go into the game like we did against Sunderland. I'll only be happy once the final whistle has gone and I see the trophy with our colours on it.
And you know what? I'd rather have it that way than assume it's ours. I'd hate to go into this game thinking it's in the bag, it'd take some of the joy out of it if we win.

Re: QPR....& HUGHES......bring it on.
We all know it's ours to lose now, and that Cityitis is a real and deadly affliction!
But since Mario has been kept out of the side and Mancini has found the perfect formation, he's stuck with it, and we've been solid, sure Newcastle had a couple of half to decent chances, but how many gilt edge chances did we create against the form side, away from home>
We're at home and shown now defensive frailties over the past 5 games, conceeding 1 goal! I just think Mancini has got the team purring like a machine, sure there will be nerves on both sides on sunday, but we've got big game players who have shown in the last few weeks they can rise to the challenge.
QPR are no Newcastle, they were awful against Chelsea, maybe they will be better, but not by much, we will be too much for them, I predict 2-0 at half time, if not Yaya will steamroller them in the 2nd half again, if they try to attack us they will leave gaps, and we will score, we average 3 at home, so I'm going with 3-0 home win.

Re: QPR....& HUGHES......bring it on.
I really do hope with around 30 mins left we are coasting at 3 or 4 - 0 up. After the nail biting last 3 games including wolves away it would be great if, just for once, we could celebrate in comfort and enjoy the day without fear of a cardiac arrest. However if needs must i'll take a 1-0 win as long as we get over the line.

I'll take a 1-0 loss and Sunderland beat the rags 2-1!!!! Even sweeter for Ashley the diver Young after his comments.
Seriously though - we are City and until we win the PL, that 'doubt' will always be there. At home we have been awesome all season. I expect Mancini will have them focussed all week and not get carried away.
Aguero and Tevez have been so-so in the past 2 games in front of goal - and I expect them both to have a more clinical approach to this, our final game.
There will be tension and nerves - but i would hope that after the United and Newcastle games - we can get into our stride quickly, be more clinical in front of goal (which we normally are at home) and put the game to bed by 60 minutes - 3-0.
Here's hoping!!

My only hope is that Bobby keeps faith with the team he has fielded on the last two games. They have been immense and deserve to lift the league cup.
United have been good in every way, except ,they did not score enough goals
