Pep admits to try to bring someone in during the transfer window

So, Pep has said he's going to try to do some business in January. That will be over and above Jesus arriving. January business is usually desperate business. Watch him go and buy another midfielder

Nah...think it'll be an all out attack on Van Djik.

First priority is improving our defenders, Van Djik fits the bill and he's young so i would go all out for him. He could form a good pairing with Stones and even Denayer who formed a strong pairing with Van Djik at Celtic so they know each other well. Meanwhile Pep could continue the development of Adarabiyoyo as a a back up and an eye to the future.
A couple of young, fast full backs is also required and we may find filling those positions more difficult. At least one more top striker is an urgent requirement also.

pep could be naughty and just put bids in for Rose and Walker which just happen to be leaked in the press. £30M each and offer them £150k per week. I'm guessing they aren't even on £60k. They won't come, especially in January, but it will de stabilise them a little.

Maybe a £60M bid for Sanchez too. That will crack Wenger up.

Remember, we've Gabriel Jesus coming next week. He's another striker/attacker....I'd be more concerned about another defender - be that RB/LB or CB.

We definitely need at least one new defender, but it may be useful to shake it up a little. But we won't buy unless we can sell too. A space has opened up with Gundogan's injury.
