I spoke to one Rag fan Tuesday night and he was as bitter as they come. He came out with all kinds of shit, that i didn't think he was capable of (he's a mate). "QPR gave up and let you win at 2-2". "I hope Tevez burns the other side of his face for holding that banner up". Believe me, that was just 2, he went on and on, I just walked away saying "and you lot call us bitter blues", i think it just fanned his flames .

just about everywhere you look, people really wanted city to win.

they felt a part of it. it was like they had won something themselves. it is a combination of the real respect city fans have and the hatred of manure.

As my Mum says "A change is as good as a rest!" breath of fresh air City winning the title instead of the usual cartel! Took a bigger collective effort to win it this season, than it probably would any other team, having to deal with the pressure, then coming back with the 6 game surge at the end to win it, with virtually the last kick of the game, that must have taken balls of steel! Aguero is one cool cucumber!!!!

That was simply a joy to behold.....

It's great isn't it. I was working in Stoke of all places on Monday and there are even rag fans there, plastic ones too which is even funnier. I just printed out the parade route and left a copy on all their desks. Sweeter than any face to face gloating. Only one of them has mentioned it to me.

I must say I work all over UK and the most annoying place is Peterborough for Rag fans. Our depot there is all UTD posters on the wall !! Makes me sick, but give them some due they at least congratulated me, and a couple of them are season ticket holders so not total plastics.

This is just a few of the comments I got from Rags at work

- I'm glad we didn't win because it would have been embarrassing to play so badly all season & still win the league
- It was a fix Both Newcastle and QPR wanted City to win over United
- City didn't win it United lost it/ handed it to us
- With the money you've spent you should have won the league by Xmas
- It doesn't mean anything because you bought the league

And my favourite one........I'm glad we didn't win coz Fergy will have to start spending some money now

It seems the whole football world is celebrating our victory, just seen youtube footage of Hey Jude rendition following the derby and messages are posted from fans all over the world rejoicing. Fucking happy days.

Regardless of the constant sniping about us, I think how our team conducted itself on sunday was fantastic, even under so much pressure, weight of expectation, we didn't snap under the Barton provacation, any other team,there's no doubt it would have descended into a brawl..... Sergio just dusted himself down, and answered in the best way possible.
There was probably the biggest audience for those final 2 games, 3/4 of the audience wanting City to upset the cartel and win the title, the rest hoping for us to fail..... you can see the way people reacted to the unfolding drama, unbelieveable stuff! it's still sinking in now! Fantasic scenes of Sergio running away twirling his City shirt...
Whatever Sergio is on, he's worth it! he will be City's poster boy for the foreseeable future... move over Ronaldo there's a new kid on the block, he doesn't moan, doesn't dive, always got a smile on his face.... a true role model, in every sense.

I have to admit I think Sergio is one of the true professionals who realises what a privileged position he is actually in. I mean 200k a week for kicking a ball about !! In fact the only player we have that doesn't is Mario and to be honest I would not be upset if he was not here next year.
