performance today to a man (yes even Garcia).  Shut Gobbo up - and even Marty Feldman stood up and cast his blanket aside when Nasri scored.  Hope that Pellers sees what a work horse Milner is and gives him more starts.  Lescott did a good job too - much better than Andy Caroll lookalike.

Thrilled with that display of how to play football.  Well done City.

Toatally agree Wensdi, Garcia and Lescott didn't put a foot wrong....great team performance that.

Completely agree, Wensdi. I thought Garcia was Barry for large chunks of the game, he was that good. He didn't do anything spectacular, but he was doing the unglamorous breaking up play and simple passing like a natural. Couldn't fault him at all.

And if Lescott can't get more games after that solid performance, I will be stunned.

I can't understand why they got DEM - there had to be a better alternative to him.  He can certainly jump for those headers during a corner - but that's about it.  He's very slow and studied on the ball - I'm always shouting for him to "pass it".

I never thought I'd praise the day when Garcia was back from injury. Even if he had a bad game he can't be as awful as DeM has been.

However, great performance from Garcia, man of the match for me. Will he do it again? Doubt it - but I hope he proves me wrong.

I read one report which said Silva only came alive when Nasri came on....but they were only together for 8 minutes!

Beggars belief what games some people watch. Silva was brilliant.

I thought Jimmy was fantastic. Nullified Hazzard so much that he switched positions. In the 2nd half, Jimmy looked knackered but kept on going and going.

Good to see Jovetic coming into strides now as well.

It looked bad from 80 yards away - it was a poor show from him and the only blot on his copybook.

Yeah, hope he got a verbal assault off Vinny for that one...hate other players doing it, but can't believe there's been no more about it, it was that poor.
