What Will Tevez Eventually Do?
Following on from a thought that ocurred to me on another thread, if Carlos was to help drive us to another (perhaps 2!) Premiership titles, possibly more if I let myself dream a little, then in 2 years time when his contract expires, what do you think he will do?
- Are we looking at preparing a new contract in the hope that he's learned his lesson and realised he'll never get it better than he's got it with us/to try and secure some kind of fee at least if we decided to sell him? (I personally think we'de be happy to let him do what he wants)
- If we let him wander off into the sunset with our best wishes, do you think his going back to the swamp might be a possibility? (Despite bacon-face's fall-out and previous hard-line approach to players who have overstepped the line, I wouldn't put it past that two-faced forked tongue-monger to even go back on his own principles - especially if he's desperate by then, nothing would surprise me.)

If all goes well this season, then i reckon he'll be offered a new contract. If he doesn't sign it, then we know what his intentions will be. If he does sign it, then great, as he will have earned it.....plus we'll obviously get a decent fee if either parties want him out.
If that occurs and he wants to go back to the Rags or anywhere else for that matter, then good luck to him. I personally couldn't careless who he plays for after us.

I seriously doubt he would ever go back to the Rags.
I agree though, I would'nt give a flying fuck, once he has gone.

Think he'l probably stay now. Where else is he gonna go A.That want him and B. that can afford his million a month wages
He's a very good player and has been at WHU, Scum and now us Unfortunately he will always be remembered for his pathetic tantrum & wallking out on the club so he will always be tainted & will never be classed as one of the greats

Unfortunately - it's like someone has cheated on their spouse. Things won't ever be quite the same. However, the one who has been cheated on - still loves them. As long as he's working as hard as he is and scoring goals we can accept the transgression - it's just the respect that's missing.
I don't think he's too bright and has been heavily influenced by his agent - maybe now he's been down that path - he knows he made a mistake. He's certainly well regarded by his team-mates.

Re: What Will Tevez Eventually Do?
What if he just was generally unhappy and depressed with not having his daughters near him. I haven't got kids, so can't really know what it's like not to have your children close by, but seeing my mums face when I talk about me moving way gives me some indication.
It's my understanding that his daughters have now moved to England, hence why he is now happier here.
Yes, what he did was wrong, but in my eyes another few months of the hard work and all can be forgiven. Everybody makes mistakes, more so when they are not in the right frame of mind.
(I may be completely way off track though).

Nice article, but it never fails to amuse that the first response is from a pathetic raggie hoping his precious team don't get beaten. Aww, poor diddums And to think we're called bitter!
