transfer window open tomorrow
Here's a realistic list to consider:
Lampard - maybe on a free or very very cheap. Ray Wilkins is advocating Mutd buy him as he is still very good and can play 20 matches a season for the next 3 years. Good cover for Yaya for starters and is way better than Rodwell or Garcia.
Fellaini - £20M, but he is a battler and that is someone we need (Garcia is lighweight). Good target man, if needed, and decent control.
Sneijder- defo leaving Inter and may be a steal at £5M-£10M, though his wages will be high (£200k p/w). Still only 28 and would be adequate replacement for Yaya.
Butland - £5M. Hart needs real competiton and Butland would provide that,
David Villa - £15M. Still a very very good player, but we need to get rid of the clown first.
James McCarthy - £6M. Would have preferred hm to Rodwell in the summer and he is only 22. One for the future perhaps?
Demba Ba - £7.5M. Has proven himself over the last couple of years and will cause any defence a whole heap of trouble.
Wilfried Zaha - £10M-£20M. He seems to have pace to burn and a few nice tricks. Is he good enough? Not sure, but at least he is a wide man that can get past a defender.
Theo Walcott - £10M. Arsenal are desperate to keep him, especially after his latest performance. We wouldn't play him down the centre as he wants, but we pay him a whole lot more than arsenal would and he'd win stuff with us. He's better than what we already have in Sinclair.

Lampard, - with his eye for a goal and passing, a must in my eyes
Sneijder - Another with a good engine and eye for a goal and pass
David Villa - maybe on loan until the end of the season, would sync well with Silva/Aguero/Tevez/Yaya axis and def knows where the goal is!
Fellani - would be a great acquisition in the centre of the park, maybe use Lescott as a make weight?

Re: transfer window open tomorrow
Bobby wants/ needs bodies with losing Yaya, Kolo and t'other one to ACON, Nasri for his 3 match ban, a few injuries (Rodwell, Micah, Kolarov).
I think he'll get two players, more if he gets rid of Balotelli and Lezza

Can't see anyone going. We will need everyone including SMB
Can see 1 or 2 signings but nothing special Just a couple of stop gaps
Maybe a MFer and a defender

Re: transfer window open tomorrow
I would definitely be looking at isco the kid from Malaga. He has been a revelation a good attacking midfielder with an eye for a pass. If we are to lose nasri 4 3 matches plus yaya this guy would be a great aquisition. plus the fact malaga are suspended from Europe next season and are financially in the poo a deal like the one that saw cazorla join arsenal coul;d be in the offing. They also have santa cruz on loan who has scored 3 in 4 for them so use him as a bit of a makeweight in the deal. A decent centreback and poss david Villa if balotelli goes would be my wish.

Re: transfer window open tomorrow
As long as Balotelli goes, i'm not bothered who we sign. On the names mentioned :
Walnutt.....no thanks!
Lampard...Yeah, why not.
Cashley, not needed.
Fellini, No...i'm sick of supporting Everton financially.
Sniejder, no PL experience, so not for me.
Villa, er no.
Butland....is Pants not "real competition" for Hart?
Zaha, no PL experience, so no.

Think Cashley is on the wane, with Zabba and Clichy looking very solid, I wouldn't want to upset that dynamic with that simpleton at our club, he's a tosser.
Lampard would be a shrewd move, or Sneijder, but seeing as he's not played for a few months due to the dispute, would he be upto speed straight away?
We really need a dynamic player in the centre, if there's another Yaya type out there, it would be more than a worthy investment, realistically, Lampard has played with Barry and Milner there wouldn't be too much of a learning curve or issues of resettlement in our set up.

Re: transfer window open tomorrow
The reasons for picking up Lampard are more and more compelling as each day passes. It'll give us steel in midfield while we wait for Garcia to get stronger, he can pick a pass, he's used to the Prem, he'll attack teams rather than hang back and he's capable of putting them away. And he'll be cheap.
Sod all this talk of unknown quantities like Sneijder, Di Rossi and Villa, we don't know if they'll be good or turn out to be more Garcias and we'll be paying big for them.
We're missing the big man as of right now, we don't have time to mollycoddle someone, we need someone who can slot in right now and need little work to get them up to speed. Lamps is looking more and more like not just a sensible choice, but the only one.

Ba going to Chelski. Shame. I'm sure we'll get another also ran.

Re: transfer window open tomorrow
Ba...still up for grabs...would definitely sign him for £80k per week.
Lampard.......it's a no brainer...but only if its in Jan...not the summer as we can buy Isco.
Wesley? On the fence with him...£250k pw? Not sure he is worth that.
Zaha.....not proven in the Championship, never mind the PL.
Walcott......for £12m...absolutely. And we can pay him £100k pw.
Fellani........like him, think he is another Yaya, but younger and would be great cover...but when Yaya returns....it'll mean Barry out...and I can't see that just yet...maybe in the summer.
Villa.....great 6 months loan cover.......go for it. As for a buy? Nah, not for me.
We should be looking at loan signings for cover...then in the summer, look at the new kids on the block, Isco, Goetze, Tello and maybe Walcott.
