Vince's red card overturned
Thank flip for that.
Didn't expect an intelligent decision like that from the FA, but there you go. Game on.

Assaid yesterday i could not believe they would let that stand no one in their right mind could say that tackle was bad or dangerous.

That's Mike Dean for you, between him and Clattenberg, I don't know who gets me twitching the most when I hear they're reffing.....!
That's what happens when you make a decision based on "reputation" and not what actually happened, glad the FA has seen sense for once!

felt it had chance on being overturned on evidence. However still surprised FA able to use common sense and do the right thing.

Surprised Slur Alex let them do that? Thought all FA decisions had to go through him.
Seriously didn't think it would ever be overturned though.

Yep..really surprised....but justice has been done.
It's now time referee's were told to use common sense - in interpreting the rule...not apply the rule for every tackle.
What happens if a player attempts an over-head kick - two feet off the floor and a defender is trying to head it? When have you ever seen a ref apply the rule then or sent somebody off, even though the player attempting it 'cannot' be in control of his body?
Stupid rule brought in by stupid people.

To be honest from where Dean was, it looked bad,but this is what the system is supposed to be about and it is about time that the FA used the it properly.I know that it is not popular but,we do need a system that allows major decisions to be reviewed.Nowadays the game is so fast that mistakes will occur on a regular basis

Well, wonders never cease. Really can't believe this has happened but common sense prevails in the end.

Re: Vince's red card overturned
The comments by Arse supporters are laughable. Aguero and Silva get lumps kicked out of them all the time against teams like Stoke and Sunderland but they think it only happens to Wilshire. The tackle by VK was perfectly ok and Wilshire was further away from the ball than VK and saw the tackle coming and rode it while sticking his boot into VK's groin. Wilshire is fast gaining a reputation as a dirty player and his diciplinary record supports this so they should stop whining about harsh treatmet of their precious darling.
