Lescott had a good game, Garcia has started to bed in. Kolo is good for a 4th defender. Nasri has got it in him but I agree has been pretty woeful.

Dzeko is our top scorer?

Joe Hart needs some serious competition. Not that I think any keeper would have stopped those today but what is all the poncy European Keeper Flappy Punching. 3 times he did it today. I know they were the first goals conceded this year but he worries me every time a cross goes over.

Out of those I'd keep Dzeko. What do you want ? He's top scorer

Apart from Hart...I'd keep fuck off all the players mentioned. Against the top teams...with pace, Garcia gets found out. Against shite, with no pressure...he looks...OK.

Lescott is finished.......without Kompany to bail him out.....he's Titus Bramble playing in a PL Champions side. Awful.

Dzeko...hmm. I 'll ask you this TMG. Sturridge or Dzeko on performances so far? Dzeko or Suarez? Dzeko or Cavanni? Dzeko or Tevez? Dzeko or Michu, Lambert, Benteke?

How can you want rid of Sinclair - he hasn't had any bloody match time at all apart from the odd 5 minutes FFS that's just nonsense. Garcia is doing much better and Lescott did not have a bad game today. Milner had a poor game last week but was the best on the field apart from Aguero - and admittedly Edin wasn't brilliant - but at least he scored from Milner's great cross.

Mancini's tactics were shite - why bring on Maicon instead of Carlos. Think we need to calm down and carry on. We probably have kissed the title goodbye today - had a feeling that we'd draw.

Benteke Looks good but not sure he is any better than Dzeko. Misses as many as Edin
Suarez Yes I would rather have him but LPoo wont sell to us

Apart from being our top scorer.....behind some of those Ive mentioned TMG......he cost us £24m. WTF did he do after he scored? If he hadn't scored, would you have kept him on in the 2nd half with his performance?

No I would have had tevez on from the start & brought edin on in the 2nd half but it doesn't mean he should be booted out of the club

If we go to 4-3-3 next season (as has been mooted), there will be no place for Dzeko if we buy a top top striker such as Cavanni.

I'd have Cavanni down the middle flanked by Aguero and Neymar. Falcao can start from the bench...

If we had Fellaini playing up top for us, he'd score more goals than Dzeko and he can control it on his chest and make it stick!

My point (from original post) is that Dzeko, Garcia, Sinclair, Nasri, Lescott and Uncle Tom Cobbley an all - are still okay in my book. Better

Collectively we were poor today - can't single one man out for an inadequate performance all round. The blame lies squarely on RM's shoulders. He makes very strange subs - brings on an unproven Maicon when Tevez can change a game. Not just this match either - he's been doing it all season. I don't think we have been half as good as last season - and yet we have all the same players with the addition of a few more newbies. Nasti and Garcia have been okay - Sinclair hasn't had a chance and Rodwell has been out injured. I don't call for his head - but he needs to get with the programme.

Summed up perfectly Wensdi.

I agree Wensdi. Sinclair was on for 5 minutes against QPR and looked our best player.

We seriously need some width.

I've seen match after match where we've had balls flying into the penalty box for Dzeko to get on the end of and, more often than not, he's ambling across to it long after it's gone. Or he'll be close to it and just stick out his leg, even though it's patently obvious to everyone else he's not going to reach it.

Compare that with any other CF who thrives on service. They launch themselves at those balls with everything they have to try and connect with it. Dzeko should be doing that instead and then, maybe, he'll get more goals.

And another thing he could try is actually getting into the 18 yard box and not standing out on the flanks.

Sorry, but for a CF with his scoring record at Wolfsburg, I'm astonished to see his total lack of commitment to scoring.
