Well Done Wigan
enjoyed that.....totally outplayed Everton at Goodison. Sometimes they can just turn it on - like they did last season at OT.

I was glad they beat the Toffees, I didn't want to have to come up against them in the semi final!

Great result, they should get to the final now. Who'd have thought that!

Re: Well Done Wigan
Dave Whelan must've had a brilliant weekend, first beating the toffees at Goodison and then being drawn in the semi against a Championship side. It looks like the final will be Wigan versus whoever wins the cup.

Re: Well Done Wigan
If Wigan can beat the Toffees at Goodison 3-0 - then surely we can get a result on Saturday. Hope Mancini's watches the match and sees how Wigan managed it. Maybe he can emulate Wigan's tactics then.

Unfortunately, teams seem to up their game for the visit of the Champions and Moyes will be furious and determined to prevent a repeat of that last game so i expect another tough encounter with them.

We haven't always been Champions tho' MCM. Everton seem to beat us whether we are mid table or whatever. Mancini needs to figure them out. The other Roberto did!!

Re: Well Done Wigan
Wigan's tactics were simple: Stop Baines and Pienaar from playing. Those two would've run rampant down their left wing, so Wigan simply added a third man to stop them from playing. Then beef up the midfield where Fellaini roams and, bingo, Everton are neutered.
Can we do it? With Milner and Zab on our right flank, all we need to is get someone to cover them and then park someone on Fellaini. Job done, surely?

Barry/Garcia will be given that job, but the main priority imo has to be (as stated) to stop the suply from Baines....we cannot allow him to get free down the wing.
