There's talk of Pants staying for another year and seeing out his contract. He can then leave on a free.

I'm happy with that idea as I think he's a decent keeper and we'd only get about £4M for him which we'd need to spend getting another keeper in.

Maybe get rid of Richard Wright and promote a young keeper (one of ours or bought in). Third choice keeper for a year, then promoted to 2nd keeper if good enough when Pants leaves. Good natural progression.

That was the rumoured figure a few weeks back. Lots of Hull forums thought he was a done deal with the Daily Mail (!) reporting the figure £4M.

Pants and the cup final pretty well summed up the relationship Bobby had with the players at the end.  He really didn't have one, it really was a shitty thing to do after saying even a week before he would need make a change for the final.
