So much for wanting to represent your Country. Now don't get me wrong, i know the club pays the players wages but them not letting you represent their Country just doesn't seem right.
We all know players drop out of friendlies by claiming to be injured, but this is the opposite....he'll miss game despite being "fit". If this extends to more and more clubs acting this way, it may well be the start of the end of friendlies.
