First test

Watched the first 6 overs or so and back now to watch some more. England are letting Australia off the hook here, but would still take this score if it had been offered at the start of the day. Any score under 250 should still be a great day for England.

If we can keep them to less than 300, we'll have done extremely well. Here's hoping we can finish them off.

There was that period when Johnson and Haddin were batting and the ball did nothing at all. Get these last two wickets early doors and pile on the big runs. I reckon England should be looking to bat into the 4th day and then use the pressure to help winkle out those Aussies.

the aussie commentators here really condeming the paper which is a queensland paper they are very embarrassed by the headline. that is good to hear as they are normally supportive of the press here.

I got up at 5.15 expecting us to be 200 for 2ish, how wrong was i.........115-9 WTF!!!!!!

Our batsmen should be embarrassed by their display today.....1 down after 1, they've alot to prove now.

We're always average/poor in the first tests for some reason...I'm confident we can bowl them out for under a 500 lead...however, with the pitch deteriorating, not sure we can bat for 2 days.

I went to sleep with us 1 down and also expected England to bat all day. I was shocked when I woke up and saw England fielding. Embarrassing.

As we said before, it's all about momentum. So we really didn't want to give them such a boost.
FFS we even made Johnson look like a real cricketer, and we all know how woeful he really is.
At least we have the ability to still win the series, just depends how much we want it.

Stayed up til 2 this morning and I actually thought we looked ok at the "Lunch" break with Bell and Cook looking pretty solid and going well.
I got up this morning hoping we'd therefore still be doing ok....maybe only losing another 2 or 3 wickets. Oh no, how wrong again was I......179 fuckin all out.

These batters of ours better sort themselves out and quick or this series is gonna be so embarrassing.
