London beckons for Mario
If they think he's the answer to their striking problems, they must be fuckin mental.

I don't think they can afford hos wages for starters.

Can't see that happening. Why sell your best striker for a flop? Unless they were willing to absolutely smash their wage bill to pieces...again, can't see it.
What did make me laugh was a piece that Savic is going to be Vidic's replacement.

Yeah, but we thought that about Adebayor and he seems to have hit a bit of form lately, plus he seems to have gone more than three months without spitting his dummy.shakencity wrote:If they think he's the answer to their striking problems, they must be fuckin mental.
But christ, a forward line of Adebayor and Balotelli would be a total nightmare to manage. Can you imagine the stress? I just hope Tim Sherwood is up to the job!

Not convinced about Sherwood, I think he's trying to be a mate rather than the gaffer. It's all you can do with those types of players, they cannot be managed, they can only be coaxed.

You might be on to something there, Blistering. This would certainly explain why Adebayor is playing well at the moment. But I guess it won't be long before he throws his toys out of the pram and then we'll see what sort of boss Sherwood is.

I thought Balotelli hated all things English apart from Man City. So why on earth would he come back?

It's probably all paper talk. Unless he's been to London since and decided he liked it.

Sherwood is only a temp I reckon so next season Adebayor's ass will prob be out in the cold again
Perhaps Uniturd want to have DeMichelis as well as Savic to solve their defensive problems

Savic
I can just see him deciding to come good if he goes there, which would be fucking typical.

To be fair last time i saw him was in an international for Serbia and he looked much improved and has matured and gained more experience since leaving City. He might not be as much of a risk as is being suggested.

Savic has been great since leaving us, he suits the three at the back that Fiorentinas use. Had Mancini stuck with the 352, which was always going to take time, then Savic would have been perfect. Just didn't work out unfortunately.
