Mangala and Falcao

Looks like Txiki has been a busy guy this week. He's met with Falcao's agent and Mangala's in the hope he can get them both signed before the World Cup.

£20m for Mangala.
Maybe a swap n cash for Falcao with Dzeko going to Monaco.

Speaking for Den... what have they ever done? unproven in the premier league... too much money to take a risk.....buy British!

There's plenty of talk about that as well: Lascelles, Shaw, Barkley.

As for Mangala and Falcao... what had Aguero, Kompany, Zabaleta ever won or done before they joined us? I don't buy that theory.

If Falcao does come in then who's going to leave....Dzeko, maybe Jovetic, possibly even Negredo? Besides that, will Falcao be happy at not playing every game?
We have to remember he cost Monaco £50m, so he ain't gonna be cheap, if we can get him for £25m + Dzeko, then maybe it's a goer. Really hope we don't pay stupid money to get any deal done though.

Tbh, i don't really know that much about Mangala, but i think we all agree a new CB is required at the club before the start of next season.....maybe, just maybe he's the man we need. This position has to be the priority buy in the summer, so it has to be the right purchase. All i ask is that we just don't pay way way over the odds to get him......20mil ain't too bad i suppose.

If we were to buy 2 players this summer, ideally i'd get Luke Shaw and a CB (Mangala?)......don't really know how desperate we are for another forward.

I want us to look stringer at the back and stop letting weak goals in. We have enough firepower (even when misfiring) to score the odd goal or two so defence has to be the priority.

I agree with Den, two top quality defenders is what we need and we could get by next season just with that.
