Will the new manager be able to attract the big players needed to get them back into the CL?......i can't see it.

I honestly think they'd have been better staying with him (as they did all those years ago with Fergie), but foreign owners want instant success i guess.

Den, it depends who they get and how quickly they get him. I'm guessing a few signing are almost done deals (talk of Shaw and others as done deals).

If they get Klopp or Van Gaal, then they've got high profile managers that players would come to play for.

They can't really afford to not be in the CL the season after next as that will definitely put off new signings, some of the best young players and, most importantly, sponsors.

I know what you're saying Dawg, but i'm on about the established top players....the Rags simply won't be able to attract these players now (especially the foreign ones), as they all want CL football. The likes of Shaw aren't top draw and tbh, i think he'll go to Chelsea anyway.

Why on earth would Klopp leave Dortmund to go to Utd?....as they are assured of CL football next season, i can only surmise it would be the lure of managing in the PL.
Van Gaal is a possibility after the WC, as it'd be a way back into League management......it'll be interesting to see who he'd attract though   .

Money talks. Why did Yaya and Silva come to City when we didn't have CL footy? Same reason Bridge and Jo did.

It'll be good to see them having to pay over the odds (like they did with Rooney's new contract) for players and wages.
