More English players thus an interest in Ashley Cole

Ashley Cole, at 33, is still a bloody good left back. Getting hit by FFP, we need more English or HG players. I know I've mentioned him before but there are rumours we are looking at him just to get around UEFA's poxy rules. Why not? It's mainly his wages to consider as I can't see there being too much of a signing on fee and I'd even have him on the right in preference to Boyata (but looks like we may get Sagna anyway).

Helps our quota of HG, still a very good player and wouldn't be overly expensive.

Can't see him staying in the PL....think he'll go to Monaco....but agree, he's still a very good LB.

Tbh, if Cashley is gonna come, we'd have to offload one of the two we've already got (as i can't see us keeping all 3).....can you see either Kolarov or Clichy making way?

He is still a decent LB, but he ain't getting any younger.....think i'd opt against him personally.

In an ideal world we wouldn't have to look at him. Kolarov may get the chop over Clichy simply because Clichy counts as HG.

Just buy Luke Shaw.. then ship the 2 current guys out, bring up from EDS anyone to cover for Shaw.
