Bit of a strange line-up tonight
Well - the players must be tired if he ha dropped Dzeko and Tevez.
Viera back with Barry - Silva and Toure must combine well tonight to assist Balotelli up front on his own.
Oh well.....we'll see how it goes.
Come on City!!!

Great start - Yaya swing a foot from 6 yards! Get in - come on, push on!

Re: Bit of a strange line-up tonight
I see Clattenberg spotted Mario swinging his arm in the general direction of a Villan's face. Yellow card, surprise surprise. Wasn't even an elbow. Apart from that he was on his best behaviour.
Don't understand why Villa got niggly in the 2nd half.
Jim Beglin, of course, feels that City won only because Villa sent out a weakened side. Poor old Jim.

To be fair I couldn't believe the team Villa put out. If I was a Villa fan I'd be well fucked off. The LC is one thing (& I'm still not happy that Mancini put out a 3rd team against WBA) but the FA cup with a great chance to get through to the semis at Wembley is unforgivable
Still well happy we are through. Not too much effort wasted either so they should be fit for Wigan when Tevez, Dzeko, Milner, Kompany & De Jong will be back hopefully

I was really worried last night, right up to the point that I saw the Villa team sheet.
Why did Houllier leave his best players on the bench? Fucking hell, it's not like they'll go down this season!!
Bring on Reading!

Ah forget about why Houllier ended up doing what he did and just thank the Lord that he did...
Merci, Monsieur.
