It's about 3 seasons too late and, by the time anything is in place (if ever), United will start wiping the debt off with their new commercial deals. It looks like too little too late.

If, for instance, they had a transfer embargo because of the debt, we wouldn't be seeing the likes of Di Maria and Falcao over at the swamp and maybe, just maybe, they would have gone for more realistic transfer fees.
