Corinthians bid for Tevez?
Being reported on Talksport that Brazilian club Corinthians have lodged a £35m bid for Tevez. The journalist that was on at the time, seemed pretty pissed off that this story had broke, as he thought he had an exclusive and said that more bids will follow.
Seems an excellent chance to get rid, make a profit and make sure he doesn't come back to haunt us in the CL.
Lets hope its true.
Also the old Scottish piss can, has said in an interview tonight, Nasri will be on his way out of Arsenal, but not to the rag scum.

Talksport
The Mail is saying the bid is £37 Million and the Brazillian window shuts in 10 days time, let's hope there's a real bidding war.

As much as people want Tevez off loaded, the deal still has to be right for MCFC. I really hope this is just an opening bid tbh, if any of the top European clubs decide to get involved then there's no reason why a bid of around £45m won't be on the table in the coming days.

Re: Corinthians bid for Tevez?
Shaken to me its worth it so he's out of Europe and cant pottentially hurt us in the CL, we get rid of his wages, we get rid of the baggage, and he gets to walk away having moved closer to his family and fullfilling his promise to get us in the CL and get silverware.
We make a 10/13 million £ profit, or even deducting his wages for the past 2 seasons we would break even.
Seems a fair deal all well with everyone winners

Yeah i get what you're saying lee and it probably is best all round (in an ideal world). Still say this "being nearer his family" shit is a smokescreen.
Personally speaking though mate, i really don't care where he ends up, i just want City to get the best deal possible for the club. If he ends up in Europe (where i think he will) then so be it, i for one won't lose any sleep over facing him. Might even be worth waiting to see NDJ kick him into the stands .

Just get rid of Herman anyting over £30,000,000 is great bussiness, considering he and his slime ball agent will want a move after 2 years.

Re: Corinthians bid for Tevez?
Apparently we've turned down the £35m bid from Corinthians. I suppose we're expecting more than that, and why not? Our top scorer two seasons running, captain etc...
I just hope we aren't shooting ourselves in the foot.

Re: Corinthians bid for Tevez?
I'd agree with you, Newton. He says he wants to be near his family, so moving to Argentina would be ideal, right? Plus it's £10m more than we paid for him and we'd be losing his alleged £15m a year wage on top. That's fifty million off our budget in one fell swoop and reduces the operational loss for this year by over 40%. Surely a no-brainer then.
But if we look at Andy Carroll being worth £35m, and an off-form Torres being worth £50m, I suspect I can see why we're holding out. That said, neither of those guys has proved how disloyal they can be and neither has (as far as I can tell) a greedy agent with their eyes on the money.

Re: Corinthians bid for Tevez?
Sorry, i disagree fellas. We're holding out because we owe no-one (especially Tevez and his agent) anything and we want the best deal for the club. Why should we do him any favours?
I see £35m as just a starting bid, but i reckon another £10m on top of that will get the deal done.

You're right, Shaken, but I'm just worried that Corinthians turn round and say, "Nah, you're okay" and then nobody else goes for him.

Re: Corinthians bid for Tevez?
I think we are working hard to get the fucker away from this club, yes we rejected the 35m but we could always go back if no one else goes for him an Corinthians don't raise their bid... Initially we have to reject anything below 45m imo.
