So, who do we know about who's coming in?

There must be someone. I can't see us going into the season with two kids with Bony and Aguero.

Unless the boss is happy to go with Sterling up front when Aguero is missing, we'll have to buy someone.

Berahino? Not good for the lad if he's 3rd choice.
Benzema? Pushes Bony to 3rd choice
Austin? Decent call since he scored plenty of goals and would cost £12M-£15M. But would he be happy with being 3rd choice?
Higuain? No thanks and way too expensive.
Pedro? gazump the rags and he's got good CL experience I think.

Berahino would be my choice as young English talent and I beleive probably better than Bony in our system..

As 3rd choice it would be peanuts and he has the skill when he is focused...

And the entertainment value alone is worth it

I read somewhere that one of Pogba's old friends has his image rights and wants €15M for them so that makes his fee even more ridiculous. We should have just gone in with £50M and left it there.

Pedro all day long for £22m.

I know Berahino is young and English, but even Darren Fletcher has come out and said it will cost you far more than £20m to get him.

Now, for £22m it's a no brainer if you're comparing the 2 strikers and their price. Pedro's only 27 and it's not like he's had loads of football at Barca.

Berahino is 21.. so to me thats the option for young home grown exciting talent..

Pedro is a far better player than Navas would ever aspire to be.

He's a 1 in 3 player for Barcelona and the same for Spain. Navas is more 1 in 33 and can't even cross a ball.

Pedro can play wide and as a second striker. He's got CL experience as well.

The thing is, we could buy Berahino, but really, how often would he start? Don't get me wrong, I like him, but at 21 he needs regular football and he'd be 3/4th choice for us.

How much of Dzeko's wage will we still be paying I wonder .........

If Pedro could play anywhere across the line, he'd be a good shout. He's 4th choice at Barca so, being 3rd choice for us is an improvement!

Anyway, there will be enough games that either Raheem, Aguero or Silva are injured for Pedro to get enough games. Same for Berahino. He'd work for us in terms of HG, youth and skill but it wouldn't be the best for the lad.

Don't think it would be a sensible move for him. He'd get cup games and the odd sub appearance. If Bony and Aguero were fit for the CL games, he wouldn't get a sniff.

He'd be better off for his career staying at WBA or going to another bottom 10 club where he'll play regular.
