Soton v City - Live Thread
So, we'll know by the time we KO if the rags are closer to us, however, with Arsenal scraping a 1-0 win yesterday, the pressure is on to jump back into 3rd today with a win.
With Silva and TLMLF injured, personally, I'd be playing close to our strongest 11 with just a few changes. Top 4 is crucial and the semi will take care of itself.
Hart
Sagna, Vinny, Mangala, Clichy
Fernandinho, Delph
Sterling, KDB, Nasri
Aguero

Crossing everything for the Leicester game. Not only can they win the title at the Toilet of Dreams, but a win and we only need 4 points for the last 3 games for top 4 !! Not even sure MP could mess that up

Grade one prick....that's what the Manager is.
Get Sergio on now to try and salvage something.
The quicker Pep gets here the better.

The whole fucking team is unbalanced. Who picks a 4-4-2 away from home when your rival for 4th place has just drawn - and who the fuck would pick the Bone Idle fucker in that 2 up front?

I knew the idiot would play Boneidle instead of Sergio
KdB not even on the bench is just criminal though
Piss poor management
We will need to win 2 difficult games against Arsenal & then Swansea away
Thanx Manuel

Not even watched the fist half but he is a tosser anyway.
All he cares about is the CL.
I'd rather he played with one up front than have Bony Idle anywhere near the pitch.

Re: Soton v City - Live Thread
This is such a disappointing watch... Navas on for Delph, which can't make things any worse, I forgot he was on the pitch.
I'm not going to say anything bad about Mango and Ota, they've been utterly hamstrung by having no discernible full backs. Zaba has been passed so easily and do often, but at least he's in position, which is more than we can say about Kolarov.
Dino has been very poor today, a rare bad day at the office. Sterling has been woeful, Nasri can't find a way in and Bony has been a waste of a shirt, as has been Delph. Hart has been massively under protected and hasn't marshalled his defence properly. Itchy has been the only one who can hold his head up.
And as I type this, we slump to yet another 4-1 defeat. We'd better beat Madrid on Wednesday now, otherwise this would have been in vain.

I'd take the fuckin lot off (including both CBs Leo)....this is the most embarrassing performance I've seen from a City team for years. Not one person (including Iheanacho) can say they've done anything of note...I'm so pissed off with them all right now.

Re: Soton v City - Live Thread
He's a cunt - simple as. As soon as that team sheet was posted, I decided to write an article for LinkedIn....not watched one second of it - got family over watching the game and for dinner, it's on in the other room, just heard expletives about Kolorov, Bony etc....so glad I didn't bother as I was warned by my wife "don't scare them like you normally do when you're watching City...no C words, not F words".....so I thought "fuck it won't bother watching the useless cunts team get battered"
Onwards and upwards - "he's shit, and we know he is"....hurry up Pep.

I disagree Shaken, Itchy has been the only one who's done anything in this game. Including two goals.

Arsenal can bag 3rd with a win at our place. We are battling for that 4th spot. we don't deserve it at all.

Zabba knows its the end, same for half that team. Its another 2 fingers from Manuel, the cock

Re: Soton v City - Live Thread
The trouble with putting all your eggs in the CL basket is then losing the damn game and heading into a crucial game with the Arse - with confidence at a low and no ambition to win. God - why doesn't he play his best team and rest a couple in the second half? No colourful language thanks just a good answer.

Re: Soton v City - Live Thread
soton are 7th so we should have expected a beating.
off the top of my head, we've been embarrassed by liverpool (twice), soton, spurs, leicester, stoke, chelsea (facup)
we've been beaten more times than the rags...

there isn't a good answer. MDM isn't the answer to anything anymore. Should have had a kid on the bench, but not our Manuel.Wensdi wrote:The trouble with putting all your eggs in the CL basket is then losing the damn game and heading into a crucial game with the Arse - with confidence at a low and no ambition to win.
