Klopp and LFC
Listening to the radio before the game and then watching the usual BT crap presenting team....the overtly biased view on LFC and Klopp was vomit-worthy.
It started with the TS team saying "what a magnificent season for LFC and Klopp. He's taken them to another level. If they win tonight, what an excellent season they will have had and with CL football next season, he'll push them on even more".
We then got a similar point of view from the BT team.
The Truth!
LFC finished 8th in the PL.
LFC got beat in the C1C Final by Man City.
LFC got beat by Sevilla in the UEFA Cup Final.
LFC spent £83m on players.
LFC have NO European football next season.
We then had the typical shocking drivel spouted in the 85 minute...."oh well, Liverpool can now concentrate on the PL next season".
The comedy continued after LFC got an absolute battering by Sevilla. Michael Cockwomble Owen said, and I'll ask you to put down anything hot you may be drinking.....when asked will the fact LFC not being in Europe next season affect them buying the top stars, his reply was this, I kid you not:
"No. Liverpool are a massive club. Apart from Real Madrid or Barcelona, who else would they want to go to?"
Really....he really did say that with a straight face.
So...all in all, what we know is that Jurgen Klopp has lost all 5 finals he's been in.
James Milner said to the press yesterday...."I left Man City to be a winner with LFC".
Well son, that didn't work out did it.
Furthermore, the Echo reported with this:
All in all....the media have this love-in with LFC. It doesn't matter what they do, how bad they do it, the love-in and media bias continues.

Re: Klopp and LFC
If they'd won it would have been an excellent season. A European trophy, CL football next season and a domestic final.
But they got nowt.
I do think, however, that they will be challenging next season without any distractions and Klopp will, undoubtedly, buy some better players. When Kolo Toure is your best defender...

LPoo were runners up to us under Brendan Rodgers and should really have won it but for that fateful but extremely funny slip. They then finished 6th in the next season guaranteeing Euro football. This season 8th and no Euro football under Klopp. Hopefully they will continue this progress next season
