where did city finish last season?
We finished 3rd and not joint 2nd.
Why can't so many city fans accept that?

Re: where did city finish last season?
I get sick of all this Chelsea pushed United to the end, Chelsea are the only ones to challenge United next (this) season.
Chelsea proved that they are up for it in challenging United.
Seems that everyone forgets that Chelsea finished with the same points as City, which is why I say City came joint second on points.
So thats why I started saying it, just as a reminder to other fans that we were not that far off Chelsea as well as beating Arsenal into 4th spot. It also gives our own fans a sense of yes we did get the same points because the press and pundits wouldnt damn well admit it.

I totally see where Lee is coming from. All the 'pundits' harp on about is the red scum and Chelsea. But to be quite honest, that suits me just fine. Let them dismiss us all they like, let them forget that we had an amazingly strong end to last season, overhauling Arsenal in the process.

Oh here comes the rag with his crystal ball again. Some might say that we crumbled midway and that might not happen again.

PG, since when has honesty been a rag trait?
i say it how it is.
we spend most of our time slagging off these pundits and newspapers, yet we want their praise as well!
I say fuck em all and just enjoy us winning things again!

If we scored more goals we would have been second in our own right, so we deserve to be counted as equal second, the premier league is a marathon not a sprint and we were equal to chelsea in the marathon

johnsavitta, if we had 10 more points we'd have won the league. we didn't and we didn't.

If Tevez had passed at times instead of trying to go it alone we might have scored the extra goals, but instead of dwelling on the past let's make sure we score the goals this year

5-0 win tonight and we're top, 5-0 defeat and we're bottom.

We aren't going to lose 5-0, Boris.
Well, I don't think we will.
I doubt we will.
We might do.
Actually, there's a chance we could.
Oh, god, we're going to lose 5-0!

Re: where did city finish last season?
Rich,
I got a text as i was walking out of Gigg on Saturday from my Wanky mate,
"we are top the league, said we are top the league, repeat, repeat, repeat".
Absolutely gutted when i turned GMR on, shit day all round .
City have to win 5-0 tonight now.

Don't worry about it, Shaken. Even if we don't thrash Swansea today, we'll knock wanky off the top spot next weekend
