Everton want £50M. I'd prefer we paid £40M and anything else as bonuses for games played and trophies won. Oh, and get rid of Bony as part of the deal too.

I know what I would prefer & that is to say 45 million maximum that's half way between the two differences . If a no go then walk away. Everton don't need the money Stones himself signed a new contract last season so this could drag on & on. Its time City were not played as mugs. Uniturd are doing their best to look like dick heads let them take the mantle.

I'd prefer not to waste any money on him. He's not
good enough. No better than what we have

I think it's very hard to judge any defenders in a Martinez team
The back line of Coleman Jagielka Stones and Baines should've been exceptional but with such a disastrous gung-ho approach they looked shocking
Better judges than me think he's the real deal,if he is then £50m is probably a snip

I think we'll meet in the middle around £45m.
If Pep wants him, then I'm sure he'll become a very good player. He showed lots of promise early on, but as PPLF said, Everton's tactics were shocking and left the defence exposed time and time again.
In addition, he can cover at RB as well if needed.

The thing is we have the money and can afford it. But it is helping another team immensely and, if they invest it wisely, they end up strengthened.

Interesting that Chelsea have gone cold on him, particularly after bidding 40m last season.

but that was jose after him. and he didn't want him this time around. he wants, and needs, more instant success.

I hardly think a strengthened Everton is going to trouble us unduly, but they might be a thorn to order teams that we might find funny!
