Everton back in for Ashley Williams this morning, so it seems that a deal has been done.

Probably get an announcement today.

I cannot believe City have just gone behind EFC's back with this...as City can rename their CL squad after the next qualifying game and I can't believe Pep is shitting himself not having Stones for those games.

Its all if's & buts what if Everton thought they had signed Williams so we confirmed Stones to uefa, then Swansea pulled the pin on the Williams deal. Too late for us to withdraw the list?

I just can't see City putting a player on their CL squad who had not been signed - or, an agreement between the two hadn't been made....it's not like this could be kept quiet as everyone would be looking at the UEFA site this morning to look at all the squads.

Tough shit, if the deal has been done we need him in the CL squad, sod what Everton do or think.  Hardly like it wasn't going to happen.   It's just added 5-10m to the Williams price mind you  Laughing
