Palace vs City
First topic message reminder :
Every game, for me, is just about a must win. I think all the teams near the top will be there or thereabouts for most of the season. We could have been top with a nice lead if it wasn't for those three 1-1s at home.
Bravo
Stones, Kompany, Otamendi
Gundogan, Fernandinho, Silva, KdB
Sterling, Aguero, Nolito

Not Kevins best today, need that 2nd goal, confidence factor low for clean sheet :-(

we should press their keeper so he can't kick it so far down.

Yayas probably run more today than he did all last season put together.

Well done for his 2 goals.
However, he could score 2 in every game until the end of the season, but my opinion of him will never change.
Horrible c&nt.

I'll be with yaya when he is moved on well his agent at least. Felt sorry for vinny heard it was double vision after the collision. Does anyone else think Nolito runs like his knees are rubbing together & he has flat feet"? One thing that I don't get & it pisses me off is with 30 secs left Fernandinho feigns injury wastes about a minute So the ref adds the time on and they almost score. Gety on with the game with 30 secs left we can see it out don't give the ref or palace the opportunity to add more time on, Same with Aguero's substitution. I thought he was doing the bloody mannequin challenge leaving the field. You know the ref is going to add on time so the less time they have to get an equalizer the better, don't hand them more.

Re: Palace vs City
The ref was very poor & was constantly duped by all the diving & bullshit from Palace players. How did puncheon stay on the park? I get the ref may not have seen it as he was quite a distance from the play looking diagonally across but come on the linesman ffs was almost on top of it wtf was he watching? Same with when Collins clipped toure in the penalty area should have been a pen Linesman was right in line with it? Yet he can see right across the far side when aguero was offside, Only problem was he was actually a good foot or so onside? so the linesman was just as bad as the ref. That must be why they now call them assistant referees.

Re: Palace vs City
I'm with Pep. He's moved on, so should we.
........
Speak for yourself. If two goals sway your opinion of him, that's up to you. I don't have a short-term memory.

two goals haven't swayed anything for me. I'm supporting the manager's decision.

Looks like west ham got the same quality of wankers and assistant wankers that we had

Re: Palace vs City
Look....you all know how I feel about him. It's never been about his footballing qualities or what he's done for us in the past (though he has been shit for 2 years!!)...it's solely down to the 2 years where he's disrespected the club, fans, owner and the shirt. It's not an isolated incident, he's done this consistently for 2 years - since cake-gate.
Yes, his agent has been the main protagonist, however, he's stood by and allowed him to say what he has...he's even made statements to the extent where he's said "what my agent says, I agree with and support him".
Therefore, I couldn't give two shits about his goals or what he does for City in the remaining months of his contract. He'll never be a City legend in my eyes - and when fans say "he's a legend"...just look at the players on the homepage on this site - and just ask yourself how many of them 'ever' disrespected the shirt, club, owner or fans. They're true City legends. TLMLF will just be another player that contributed to some success at our club - IMO. Legendary status was lost 2 years ago for me.

Yeah, but that was a footballing decision - and as much as I was pissed off with it - I accepted it.
My point was - you said "so should we"....and my point was "but Pep hasn't been exposed to the complete and utter bollocks him and his agent have come out with for the past 2 years"....so as much as I'm behind the manager - I'm not going to suddenly jump up and down with glee when he scores a couple of goals - because apart from that, he was the same old same that we've seen for 2 years - OK when he's near the box, but whenever he has to put in a shift to defend, he allows bang average players to waltz past him like he's stood still with a blindfold on.
