Bournemouth vs Man City - Live Thread
First topic message reminder :
OK, so now we know what we have to do. Arsenal, LFC and Rags winning, Spuds losing....means a win can take us 2nd, 8 points off Chelsea with 13 games to go.
Lot's of press reports intimating that Kompany and Aguero won't be starting. I'd have both of them tonight.
The 3 up front have done really well, but against Bournemouth on their pitch, you could argue that Sergio in particular, would be perfect for tonight, and a chance to see him alongside Gabriel.
Who do you drop though? Sane, Jesus and Sterling all deserve to start on recent form....but if we accommodate Sergio, one of them has to be dropped. For me, it's one of Sane and Raheem. Tight call as both have been excellent. I'd possibly drop Raheem to the bench and stick with Sane, only because of his height as a possible option, as I can't separate them on form.
Willy should stay in net. Simple as. Does he go for a 3 at the back or stick with a 4 away from home?
I would be happy if we saw this:
Willy
Zaba, Stones, Otamendi, Kolorov
Fernandinho, Silva
Sane, KDB, Jesus
Aguero

Good win. Thought Silva was simply brilliant. Great to see Sergio on the score sheet (if they give it to him).
3 points....3 massive points.
Thought we weathered the onslaught for 10 mins, and Stones was excellent, so was Willy.
Well done boys.

Yeah, he should have had at least one.....but again, when he wants to take on players, he reminds me of Hazard...players just don't know where he's going. Hope Gabriel's OK.
Fans were great tonight, in very good voice.

if those three kids keep improving as expected/hoped we're going to have some forward line in a couple of years time

Nice hug for Arter from Pep - he was offering his commiserations over Arter's lost child. Nice touch Pep.

The report from Bournemouth was offering congrats for his forthcoming child. Maybe both?

Yep - I clearly saw Pep mouth "I'm so sorry" so he must have referenced the lost baby before congratulating him on the forthcoming event.
What a game Fernandinho had yesterday - he was monumental. Silva orchestrated the whole match and was my MOM but Ferni was superb.

Has anyone ever watched the fat jock on ESPN? He really is a biased bellend. He hates City....you can hear it in his voice, bitter....
