Rotation...

Post by Topdawg on Thu Mar 09, 2017 9:53 pm

That's the name of the game. Rotation is the reason why Silva didn't start and Raheem had the night off.

I'd much rather both had started last night and we worry about the Boro game afterwards. I'd have much preferred to rest the pair of them at the weekend and have them raring to go against Monaco.

Agree, Stoke are tougher to break down with their defensive set up and we needed Sterling and Silva badly to help carve them open. Pep would have been better resting them against Boro.

I'd have taken a 0-0 against Boro, even if it meant a bit of fixture congestion so long as we beat Stoke.

Top 4 isn't a certainty especially with games to come against Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal and the rags

Had to put up with rag acquaintances next day on FB going on about holding 3 out of the 4 domestic trophies and the 'Emptihad' last night. I hate rags arrogant fans with a passionĀ  Mad Evil or Very Mad
