He needed that, didn't realise they have drawn the last 3 at Etihad. Need to bust that hoodoo here.

They’re certainly causing us a few problems at times, but you’ve got to be confident with that bench.

Plenty good enough, got a bit feisty at times and good job Richarlison left his shooting boots at home but we we’re always better than them. Weather looked particularly shitty, good day for Gabby though.

I like to think I’m less tribal than some fans about football, but I’m physically unable to want the rags to win tomorrow no matter how it helps us with the table. The best I can do is hope for a draw.

Re: City v Everton
Some players need a rest. Think for the last couple of games, Bernardo is looking a little leggy. He pretty much played non-stop.
Walker is starting to lose concentration in games - good job he's quick and strong.
Gundogan was very good yesterday - neat and tidy on the ball.
Brilliant to see Gabby finally score a couple. Took both goals really well and again, never stopped working hard. Now Kev is back, he'll get on the end of more accurate balls - because he made 5/6 really good runs but the final ball either didn't come, was delayed or was a poor one.
Even at 3-1 they could easily have got it back to 3-3 - again, nobody closing down the player making the cross....but we still looked like we could go up another gear.
3 points, all that matters and Sergio wasn't needed.
Would like to see Mahrez play in Bernardo's role as he's not an out-n-out winger IMO. Not a lot of pace and rarely takes a player on. Good control, good with the ball at his feet - so maybe a chance in that role might allow him to impact the game a bit more.

If the rags never win again it will be too soon, but if they get a point from the dippers, it will keep us top and more importantly it could just save maureens job for another season

Re: City v Everton
I seem to be the only one who wants the rags to win. I come from a family of reds which taught me to hate United with a passion
Anything to see them suffer I am all for. To see them win is a real no no. However when the beneficiary of their winning is city I will gladly and unashamedly take the win. It will really piss them off knowing they beat Liverpool and in doing so aided our title win.... Sweet scenario in my book.
