Everton v City
Everton have won their last 4 league games, only conceding one goals beating Leicester and Chelsea along the way. We need to be clinical in front of goal and stingy at the back.
Ederson
Cancelo, Stones, Dias, Mendy
Rodri, Fernandinho
KdB
Torres, Aguero, Sterling

Re: Everton v City
Why no Ake and Gundogan?
I'd have Mahrez in before Torres too.

Re: Everton v City
Thus proving what a ridiculous idea it is to be playing a game during a pandemic.
Nice to see ‘the football family’ coming together to call for us to be sanctioned for having a covid outbreak!!!
End it now, please

Re: Everton v City
Apparently there were posive cases reported in the hotel the players stayed in in London when we played Arsenal on 22nd Dec....that's the source.

Re: Everton v City
What fuckwit decided that it was a good idea to have groups of 30+ people travelling back and forward across the country, whether it’s by car, coach, train or plane, to play a game during a pandemic?
You can’t have a wedding, reduced numbers saying farewell to deceased loved ones, elderly people unable to have contact with their families at the end of their lives, and yet we are privileged enough to see sports ‘stars’ rolling round on top of each other, spitting and grabbing each other by the throat. Then afterwards we see managers, coaches and other backroom staff bumping elbows before hugging each other (that happens time and again).
You couldn’t make it up.
Please, somebody, justify to me the continuation of team sports at this present time. And please don’t trot out the ‘good for national morale’ crap that gets spouted by Tory ministers. It’s as if they think the proles will forget the clusterfuck of a job the government are doing in controlling the virus just so long as they get their fix of football to watch on TV.

Re: Everton v City
I think you answered it in your last sentence. With so much footy on tv right now, they don't need to talk about the record 41k new infections yesterday, or the hundreds who are dying of covid each day, or the fact that oxygen supplies are running out in some hospitals, or the fact that we've got more people in hospital with covid than we had in the spring and admissions are still increasing, or that the nightingale 'hospitals' are closing after costing hundreds of millions but hardly treating anyone, or that brexit rules are starting to screw with us, or that 2.9 million people were excluded from financial support by the government etc.

Re: Everton v City
Fuck the 981 people that have died in the past 24hrs, we can all get to watch Brentford vs Bournemouth tonight!!!
Seriously, you couldn’t make it up.

Re: Everton v City
But all those involved in it can spread it, unless footballers are just sooo special that they can’t catch it and spread it?
I stand to be corrected.
