City v Arsenal
Laporte not in the squad. Is he injured?
Expecting bad things in this game.
Oh the joys of being a blue.

Dias I thought looked the part. Don't want to invest too much though, I remember Mangala.

Agreed. I thought Mangala had flashes of brilliance initially and thought he was the future. Oh how wrong was I?

Re: City v Arsenal
sorry i was watching the game at 12.30 am kick off. so didnt get to bed until 02.30am had to take wife into the city sunday at 9.00am. if i'd stayed on the computer reading reports and putting in comments i would have really struggled this morning. as it is i still didnt feel to crash hot when i awoke at 7.30. On the game i still think we are very slow in our build up which allows opposition time to defend in numbers and deny us space. thought Bernardo and ederson were excellent so too ake and mahrez. Diaz looked solid. just need kev in there and an up to speed sergio. then we might start to look like the real deal again. still felt nervy that 1 goal might not be enough.

I thought it’s the most solid we’ve looked defensively since Vinnie was here

Was driving the 500 mils from Paris to Manchester yesterday. Good job I didn't watch the match before I set off as I'd have been asleep at the wheel.
But a win is a win. I just feel we're a little away from blasting a team but we need to be much more clinical.

We did look better defensively, I agree. With Kev back in the squad we will hopefully knock a few more in.

It was that own goal with a header. Can't remember who we were playing - it was away. After that he just seemed to crumble.titbumwilly wrote:Agreed. I thought Mangala had flashes of brilliance initially and thought he was the future. Oh how wrong was I?
