Liverpool lack class over Suarez

You would expect your club to back you to the hilt, but there comes a time when you have to stop doing so when he is plainly in the wrong.

LFC has not accepted that what Suarez said was racist. In fact, they are stubbornly sticking to the sad argument that no-one else heard it and it is only Evra's word against Suarez's.

Are they myopic to the extreme or trying to play us for fools??

Suarez admitted what he said; his argument (and LFC's) was that it would have been acceptable in Uruguay.

That is one of the most piss poor defences ever. I'm sure that there are things that go on in Uruguay that wouldn't be allowed here. Ignorance is no defence especially after 4 years living in Europe.

Liverpool are now scraping the barrel by trying to shoot the messenger (Evra) by attacking his credibility and saying that he made racist comments to Suarez.

They just refuse to accept their own player's guilt.

That just smacks of a lack of class.

Wow, just read some of that stuff and the fans have even less class than the club.

It is a vendetta, no evidence, cultural nuances etc.

They just cannot accept that their best player admitted saying a word that is racially insulting. He got a ban for use of said word in a racially abusive context. Accept it, move on.
