Who is going to Wembley?
Congrats to all those who managed to get tickets. Who's going & who isn't?
Unfortunately I wasn't able to as I don't have enough points
I'm still trying through various means but I've been quoted £400 which is silly money
I might down on the day wiv my brother & try & get a couple o tickets from a tout & if I can't I'll just go to a local boozer with all the other Blues who don't manage to get in

Re: Who is going to Wembley?
I'm going, Block 547 which will be similar to my view from the CoMS.
A mate of mine is flying in from Australia on Saturday, he says he's got a ticket off an agency but hasn't let on how much he paid.

Re: Who is going to Wembley?
My mate has got ours sorted, still hearing to wait from me trying to freeload with this company that has a load of Club Wembley tickets though, its always better when you don't pay.
As an alternative, is anyone going to City Square to watch the game? I reckon they're will be a few thousand blues there who can't get tickets and the atmosphere should be nearly as good as being at Wembley.

Re: Who is going to Wembley?
I looked online at some ticket agencies. The cheapest I could find was £400 going up to over a grand, (£300 in the Stoke end) Fucking ridiculous !

Re: Who is going to Wembley?
I got mine yesterday, not sure whether I will be going yet though
- to avoid confusion/ being a cunt, my bro will have the ticket if I don't go, before anyone starts making me any offers!

Anyway I think Alan Good Kompany's article below 'Spare ticket anyone' is more misleading!

Re: Who is going to Wembley?
I thought that geezer on 606 was funny when he wrote about not wanting to rip fellow Blues off and was then asking £250 for a £85 ticket.
Re: Who is going to Wembley?
that is classic inky, £250 but he dont want to rip anyone off??? ok. I have just been offered one by a mate, ive known him 19yrs and he wants £480 for it, he sold his spare for the semi for £520, i expect he will get closer to £700 for this one as he knows some pretty well off people who cant wait to jump on the bandwagon

Re: Who is going to Wembley?
Not me, Citycard holder so never likely.
Have a very remote chance (dads-work colleagues-dad!) of a corporate seat going spare, but think the guy wants silly money. I'm poor and have three kids (please give generously )
In the pub it is then. It's not too bad, there are 3 of us City fans in a town of 15,000! And at least I can get drunk on £1.90 a pint whatever the outcome.

Re: Who is going to Wembley?
I'm dead lucky. A neighbour of mine is secretary of a local team, he approached me when I was out walking the dog, and asked if i wanted him to get me a Cup Final ticket. That just doesn't happen in real life.
Anyway he's got some from the local league's allocation. One of the benefits of being an exiled City fan.
I get my ticket tomorrow. I keep worrying that it's just too good to be true though.

Re: Who is going to Wembley?
I'm going, queued up for 6 and 1/2 hours bank holiday Monday. There seems to be a bit of bitterness and resentment flying around over the allocation of tickets. The only thing I've not agreed with so far with the semi and final allocation was the "limited junior tickets" which were available on the first day of selling the final tickets. In my mind it's quite simple, the loyalty points are geared up for whoever goes to the most games and has been going the longest gets first dibs on the tickets and descends from there. The argument that we've not sold out in recent cup games or away games matters not one iota, the cup final tickets should prioritise people who have stood by the club through thin and thinner, which through the loyalty points does exactly that.I have a friend who used to go to every game but now has a job miles away so only gets to the odd ones and has only been to eastlands 6 times this season but he had enough loyalty points to get a ticket due to years of support and we've suffered some shite together over the years.
I thought the club got the cup direct semi tickets spot on as well, something needed to be done about the dreadful cup attendences and this way thousands more will sign up next season. As a business idea it was a no brainer really.
As much as it's great to be able to take your kids with you to the cup final, there can be no argument that gives a ticket to a child in his/her second year or so of going to the match to get a ticket before someone who's been going for a few years and they will hopefully get a lot more chances to go to finals in the future than the majority of us there next Saturday.
Anyway I'll be at Goodison this afternoon, not missed a home cup match and had the misery of watching city under Frank Clark so I'm beyond reproach

Re: Who is going to Wembley?
Managed to get a ticket now. I am well fucking excited. My mate does a bit of work for BBC & Sky so managed to get 2 tickets in an exec box no less
I know I'm a twat coz I didn't have enough points & other probably more deserving fans won't get a ticket BUT I've been a loyal(ish) suffering supporter for 35 years & I wasn't going to say no
Come on City !!!!!!

Re: Who is going to Wembley?
My mate came over from Australia on Saturday and he's bricking it as his ticket hasn't arrived. Paid over £500 to a Dutch ticket agency.
Re: Who is going to Wembley?
I'm not going now
My family have sold me out.
Might go City Square, giving childline a ring first though...

Re: Who is going to Wembley?
Let your joy out lads, i'm still slightly hopefull, but dont begrudge anyone getting a ticket who has seen what we've seen. Hope we can all enjoy it as much as PPLF obvously will.......buttocks clenched most likely.

I've learnt over the years to expect the worst,it's acted as a relief to a life of hideous disappointment, although I think Frank Clark has scarred me for life.

Re: Who is going to Wembley?
I've had a nightmare today! Called a couple of mates and we arranged to get tickets for Bolton away tomorrow morning, was a way of me getting over not going to Wembley - then I've just found out I've got an exam the day after it so can't go, got an exam the day after the Stoke home game as well so not going to that now either, and I'm not going to Wembley for the same reason. Fucking nightmare. Watching City is over for me now this season! The FA are wankers, if they had kept the FA Cup final at the end of the season, as it has been for the past hundred years, I would have been able to go!
Sorry, needed to get that off my chest, feel a little better now!

My ticket arrived tonight. Delivered to my door, and within 2 minutes City had scored.
Scary.
