Southampton
Fantastic work rate by that whole team - beating Chelsea and beating us. They throroughly deserved to win. Adkins had them playing good football and the new guy has picked up the reins and got them playing a bit higher up the pitch. Must say - those guys must be knackered - the way they play for 90 minutes. Rodriguez looked superb as did Luke Shaw - hope they stay up - them and Wigan. Not bothered about the rest.

Re: Southampton
Agreed Wensdi, they certainly are a decent team......especially at home. However, their fans are a disgusting and vile set of thugs.
So, with that in mind and my preferance to see Southern teams to go down, i'd like to see QPR, Reading and Soton perish from the top flight.

I'd prefer Sunderland reading & QPR if I can't have Everton

Re: Southampton
I can't answer to that statement about the fans Shaken - I think every team has their share of thugs and yobbo fans - look at Everton. My preference of teams to stay afloat are Saints and Wigan. I don't wish Reading any harm but they just aren't PREM material yet. Hope Adkins can work his magic on the team when they are back in the Championship - they certainly have a good bloke in charge there. As for QPR - if MH was still in charge then I'd like 'em to go down. They probably will anyway. Hope Villa can hang on.

Re: Southampton
I think Adkins was brought in at Reading to get them back up again at the end of next season and nothing more. He's never going to save them now.
As for Soton, they've done us a favour beating Chelsea, although I suspect they're thinking more about tomorrow's game.

I think so too Leo - hopefully he'll sort out their defence - they just ball watch. They don't really have anybody outstanding unlike the Saints, QPR, Villa. What about Sunderland - shocker getting rid of Martin.

Re: Southampton
I know! But you could see MON wasn't enjoying the job. Even after a hefty defeat, you could see the fire in his eyes when he was at Celtic and Villa, but something's not right at Sunderland, he just looked fed up the whole time.

Re: Southampton
Reading QPR should go & I'd personally like to see Stoke go down.
They're on a shocking run & they play a negative brand of football
I like the Toon & Mackem fans. They remind me of us. Many many years of hurt but still loyal. Villa altho crap should have enough quality to stay up
Wigan - Sick of them scraping it every year but you have to hand it to em they have tremendous spirit

Re: Southampton
If I could cherry pick - then I'd like for Stoke to go down. Hate their style of play - knew they wouldn't score again yesterday and only let one in. Predicted a 1-0 to Everton. I'm sure they'll be safe though - no relegation on TP's CV.

As things stand, I'd like Villa, Stoke and Sunderland to go down. West Ham going down would be marvellous.

I think Reading and QPR are already down, only leaves 1 spot to be filled.. I'm not overly fussed who fills it.
Might be Sunderland if their manager change doesn't settle well right away.
