December,make or break month
Sun 01 December 2013 16:10 H Swansea City
Wed 04 December 2013 20:00 A West Brom
Sat 07 December 2013 15:00 A Southampton
Tue 10 December 2013 19:45 A Bayern Munich
Sat 14 December 2013 12:45 H Arsenal
Tue 17 December 2013 19:45 A Leicester City
Sat 21 December 2013 15:00 A Fulham
Thu 26 December 2013 17:30 H Liverpool
Sat 28 December 2013 15:00 H Crystal Palace
I think we need to get at least 18 of the 21 league points in December including wins over Liverpool and Arsenal to put us right in the picture come January
A poor December and we will be out of it
Can't ever remember a month as difficult and congested

Utd could win all their games, none of them you would expect them to drop points in
They will be unbearable if they are close to the top by jan

Re: December,make or break month
There's only two tough looking games for Utd (Spuds and Toffees).
If we can remain unbeaten in the league in December, then I'll be reasonably happy as Arsenal won't draw further away.

We'll win um all....except Bayern and Southampton. No need to worry folks, we'll be right up there come the turn of the year.
Utd won't win all theirs either, they just ain't good enough.

And Hull. They might pull out a win over the rags, considering they've just done Liverpool. Although there is always that thought that Busface will do his usual trick of pulling his pants down and bending over.Topdawg wrote:There's only two tough looking games for Utd (Spuds and Toffees).
Our schedule isn't too horrendous. We don't need to beat Bayern (yeah, I know I said we should try!) and Leicester is a tiddler cup where we'll probably play the kids. We've already turned Swansea over and the home games we can win, even the Arsenal one, and Fulham are in a mess so we really ought to deal with them too.
Which just leaves us with the next two games, both away, both to teams capable of causing an upset. If we get at least one win out of them, we should be good for the rest of the month.

Re: December,make or break month
I think we need to win both of these next two, otherwise Arsenal could be 9 points ahead before they visit us, and that would take all the pressure off them and pile it on us.
I honestly don't think we can afford to drop a single point in the league this month.

The Britannia Stadium is always a tough place to visit too, in my opinion Stoke could grab at least a point off them there.leopold wrote:And Hull.
