Didn't Tevez sometimes arrive the night before or even the day of a match? Never seemed to do him any harm.

That's fairly late considering the distance and time zones they are flying through. Every 2 hours takes 1 day to reset your circadian rhythm.

Now I know they will be fully hydrated and are professional athletes, and maybe Tevez did used to do that, but out of a squad of 23-26 who are out there, not all will be that fortunate...MP better hope the performance is spot on, otherwise, fingers are going to be pointed at him.

Everyone is different I suppose, but I'll be surprised if a couple aren't a bit sluggish.

Tbh, i can't really see the decision the go out to Abu Dhabi being MPs, surely it would have been arranged above him?

It no doubt would have been...but we played Hamburg 2 days ago. It may have been prudent to have jumped on a plane straight after the game - or at least first thing yesterday morning.

But again blue, surely if MP had had his way he'd have done that and flown straight back. I'm guessing they were out there to promote the "Man City" brand, it would have been the owners telling them they had to fulfill all functions that had been arranged.

Crazy....they arrived there after the game on Sunday. They've had Monday/Tuesday to do all the promotional work they needed to do, and they have done quite a bit as I've watched the videos on mcfc.tv....they played Weds, what could they possibly need to do yesterday and today?

Who knows.....perhaps they all wanted to take in the delights Abu Dhabi has to offer

Weather's not been great there...but I guess it'll still be a lot warmer than here!

They are in for a shock when they get back. Let's hope they are like those racehorses that would go over to Dubai for the winter.
