What are the odds?

That Patrick Viera is being groomed to be the future manager of Man City?

What are your thoughts?

Mine:

a) We don't know how good he can be?
b) He would be high on the list as a coach at most clubs throughout the world.
c) He is obviously well respected and the players look up to him.
d) He has a winning mentality and experience at the highest level - i.e. a winner.

e) Would anyone have the bollocks to fuck with him?

Great news IMO that he has chosen us over The Gooners......you know, that 'selling' club darn sarf!!

Intersesting thought but great players don't neccessarily make good managers.

I would say he's being groomed initially to be one of Mancini's team either at city or when he leaves. He's proven that man management or at least motivation management with Clichy and Balo work. I think mancini saw something at Inter which is why one of the first things he did was go back for Vieira, firstly to introduce that winning mentality into the squad but also to mentor and advise the younger players in the squad.
