We've had worse nights in Europe
Sooooo last night went OK then I suppose :p
Is it all still doom and gloom?
Makes a difference playing Ikay further forward. He is wasted and ineffective as a defensive midfielder.

He isn't a defensive midfielder for me. He can create and score goals (think he's scored 5 goals this season in about 10 or 11 games).
When you have David Silva as running the furthest, on either side, then you know something has changed for the better.

What a great second half - so much more confidence after the first goal. Hopefully take that confidence into Saturday's game. Think everyone played so well yesterday and even Navas got his cross in for Gundogan's goal. Loved the defeated looks on Barca's faces after the match particularly Messi - ha ha.

It's amazing how quickly they deflate when it's not all going their way. They comitted a few pull backs and niggly fouls that the awful referee failed to see or give one in the box on Otamendi where he was clearly pulled back by his shirt but he failed to give us the early penalty choosing to book Stirling for diving instead. If he did not see the foul, fair enough but he saw a dive?
Credit to the team for keeping going and not getting frustrated.
