So...I can see Pep making a change or two tonight....notably, I think Sterling will be benched.
Willy
Zab, Vinny, Ota, Kolorov
Fernandinho
Sane, KDB, Silva, Jesus

bit sloppy towards the end. If we can score another 2 or 3, then we pretty much get CL because of our GD. Then we could even get away with a draw against Watford for 3rd spot.

Good performance so far....they've had no real chances.
Nice finish from KDB (my fav MF player ).....
Sane's been a bit wasteful, but I'm hopeful he'll get on the score sheet.

Hope we can get another 2 or 3 and not be slow and ponderous with us being 2-0 up....then we can get Zaba on for a massive cheer and plentiful chorus and songs....

I don't want us to sit back on this and go for 2-0. Arsenal are still 0-0 after 60 minutes. Creating chances but the anxiety and pressure on them is growing

Why do it when you've got a shooting chance?

Awful WBA.....we should have scored at least 2 more.....but tonight's about A LEGEND......
Great interview with Zaba.....you could see he struggled to play when he came on.
Long live Zaba......true City Legend.
3 points, battered them, but again, we took our foot off the gas and didn't take our chances to score more.
Sane needs to learn that diving like that....just ain't what we as fans like to see in a City shirt. STOP IT NOW!!!

silly dives like that get you booked and you don't get the 50:50s going your way. Stay on your feet and try to score.

Getting a bit emotional over Zabba will be badly missed

TBF....fair play to SS1 for showing a prolonged Zaba tribute.
He'll missed massively.
Can't wait to see 93:20 next Tuesday when it officially comes out.

Re: Man City v WBA - Live Thread
I still can't believe he's going
Was there last night, many fans name-checking him into songs that are for other players was funny, but the one that caught in my throat was "The city is yours".
I think the occasion got to him a bit after he came on, so glad he wasn't on from the start, but Vinny giving him the arm band for the last fifteen was a nice touch.
I suspected the plan was to go three up before bringing him on and there was certainly some urgency to get that third goal, even in the first half, so much more direct than we've played in many games.
And I'm not afraid to say it, I was getting a bit emotional during his interview.
Absolute legend.
