Don't think Fred will be signed this month...or at least not arriving this month. Think he may be signed, but arrive in the summer. 

Personally, I'd wait until the summer, I wouldn't sign Fred now. He'll be close to £50m....not sure he's worth that, even in the current market.

The problem is Fred’s price will go up not down in the Summer. I’d sign him & loan him back, but get him bought now.

Can't say I'm overwhelmed with Fred. Think there are far better players out there for £50m.

Think Verrati is twice the player. Probably cost a little more, but you're getting a world class CDM.

I'd also rather we went in for Fabinho, similar age and we have a relationship with Monaco.

That's a little unfair. Mendy was excellent before his injury. Bernardo, as many on here say, may need this season.

Well, with what we've got in the pipeline, the squad is getting more and more exciting.

Our first team is already very good indeed. Mendy to come back, Laoprte joining, Fred joining, hopefully Bravo to be replaced by someone very decent as backup to the generally excellent Ederson.

A new striker in the summer to complete or replace Aguero, quite possibly Griezmann or another younger player on the rise.

We should have enough for the next 2-3 years at least until Dave nears retirement.
