Re: BBC peddling this shit again
no the BBC have only just caught up to twitter from 2 weeks ago as they have been too busy putting up how many fouls we have committed before getting round to this..

But the Beeb have put up the fouls part of it again. They talk about number of fouls not the illegality and severity

Listening to Sunday Supp this morning and they discussed it too. The journo's seem more interested in explaining why its a non starter and using excuses such as, most of these tackles rarely cause serious injuries like broken legs etc. They seemed to be oblivious to the fact that these tackles, a)do not have to cause such serious damage as a broken leg to result in a player being out for 6-8 weeks and b) the rules of the game state that dangerous tackles that endanger the safety of another player (not sure on actual wording) should be punished by a red card.
Some of the horrendous tackles that have been inflicted on some of our players were punished with a yellow card just the same as a player would be punished by pulling another players shirt, how is that fair?

Totally agree....do you ask yourself if these journos (like Alyson Rudd who hates City) have actually asked Pep why he's contacting Mike Riley?
They have this weird bloody spin on things....like it's about tackling....not that yellow cards given for horrendous tackles should be reviewed, now that they are reviewing other things?

All I can say to that is, I'm glad these "journos" aren't in charge of law enforcement. I suspect they are all embittered rags, gooners and dippers who can't stand to see us pissing the league. And how quickly they forget old Bacon Face saying the same thing ten years or so ago about Ronny Winker...ManCityMan wrote:Listening to Sunday Supp this morning and they discussed it too.
