RIP Colin. One of the all time City greats & one of the reasons my brother and I became City fans. Very sad day

One of the all time greats. Don't think I ever saw him play as he was finished in 1979, around the time I first went to Maine Road.

Exactly the same as me Ray.Topdawg wrote:One of the all time greats. Don't think I ever saw him play as he was finished in 1979, around the time I first went to Maine Road.
I'm so proud to say City signed him from Bury....he'll always be remembered at both clubs.
One day the fans will alĺ get to raise a glass for him at the Etihad, really hope I'm there to do it.

So sad to hear of the King’s passing, I have many fond memories of Colin from the late sixties to mid seventies. Watching him majestically stroke the ball around the Maine Road pitch was a joy to behold he was a maestro. RIP Colin Bell you will never ever be forgotten.
