Sterling playing to his usual standard, Mendy shouldn't be anywhere near that pitch.

Agreed. Mendy & Sterling are bloody awful.

That was reminiscent of last season we dominate the game and opposition score with every chance they get.

Please sell Sterling. He looks shot to me.
In fairness though nobody can take any praise for that performance.
But Sterling & Mendy were on a whole different level of crap.

i actually thought stones and zinky could take credit for the way they played and also ferna. the rest were a joke. How can we have 29  shots and no end product. Sterling is a complete waste of space. Wtf has happened to him?

It also does not matter how much you train together etc, 7 changes in a team is asking for trouble irrespective of their collective worth.

Been saying since the start of the year, time to cash in on Sterling and move him on. There are far better players we could get in than him, his first touch is terrible, his shooting is abysmal and his choices when driving towards their box are woeful. In the 83rd minute City were counter attacking with Sterling driving through the middle towards their box. Foden was overlapping to his left as 2 Leeds defenders closed towards Sterling. We were screaming for him to pass it to Foden who could have burst into the box... but no! Sterling is forced to the right where he is outnumbered and the ball is taken off him. This and 2 shots blasted high over the bar early doors sums him up for me ...less than useless. I used to defend him against such criticism saying he did a lot of work off the ball, pulling defenders about, he does not even do that now.

Pep makes far too many changes and in too many key positions. Mendy and Zinchenko should never be on the park at the same time especially along with Ake who has been out a long time. Debruyne and Foden should have started for me also.

This is absolutely on point. I think it's got to the point where he is so determined to prove everybody wrong, he is just compounding his crapness. The above run being a case in point, so determined to score a thunderbastard, he fecks it up for all us. Move him on and get Bellingham.

I think Pep has to take this one on the chin. What did he think would happen when he took off Ake and reverted to last seasons back 4 but without the speed of Walker of Rodri to protect them.

Lets hope it was worth the sacrifice and we beat Dortmund and Chelsea.
