Umm!! 
If we have no-one lined up in Jnuary, then it makes sense to keep hold of him. I just hope we don't have to rely heavily on him (for whatever reason) in the 2nd half of the season.

I wouldn't want to sell him to another PL club anyway, purely because you never really know what's going to happen. But to Arsenal? He could turn out to be really good with them and if they ended up winning the league, we'd look like prize chumps.
