Team for the derby/semi
Would you look to have the same team for both matches?
There is plenty of time between matches, so we could play the same 11. Would you take a risk on Nasri for any of the matches?
Derby:
Hart
Zabba, Kompany, Lezza, Clichy
Yaya, Barry
Nasri, Silva, Tevez
Aguero
Semi:
Hart
Zabba, Kompany, Nasty, Clichy
Yaya, Barry
Milner, Silva, Tevez
Aguero

Re: Team for the derby/semi
TBH as much as I would love to stuff the scum we can't afford any injuries to key players for the cup SF. The title has all but gone so we need our best 11 for the SF. However Vinny & Sergio could do with some game time so I would play them
Scum:
Pants
Kolo VK Nasty Kola
Sinclair Garcia Razak Nasri
Dzeko Aguero
How good would it be to beat the vermin with a reserve team as well !
SF :
Hart
Zabba VK Jolo Clichy
Yaya Barry
Milner Silva Tevez
Aguero

Would we not run the risk of the league questioning who our first 11 are and not playing our strongest team in the league.
Got to love how the league can say who somebody's best team is when they have a list of 25 players who are supposedly free to choose from..

What about Chelsea's loss to the Saints. They fielded a totally different team today against the rags.

The team suggested by TMG would have 7 'first teamers' in it.

Well apart from Pants Sinclair & Razak all those players have played regularly this season so they'd be hard pushed to have a go Moon
The scum & Chelski made 7 changes at the weekend for their QF

Re: Team for the derby/semi
Think we have to play our best team, no point worrying about injuries and playing a weakened side, play the best 11, and go out to win, both games are must win to some extent for us, who knows what might happen if we humiliate UTD, it might sow the seeds of doubt a little deeper after the loss to Chelsea, if we add to that it might be Devon Lock time again... well, I can dream, be good to be 3-0 up and hear City fans chanting 'There's Only One Devon Lock!"

I agree, best team both times. We can't really afford to do less, I don't want to lose any ground to Chelsea and Spuds or we could end up losing places.
Keep Nasri away from OT and play him in the semi, maybe?

.................Hart
Zab......Vince.....Nasty.....Clichy
........Yaya...............Barry
Milner...........Silva............Tevez
.................Aguero
Imo, this is our strongest team and therefore has to start against the Rags, we cannot afford (as leo said) to lose any ground to the Spuds and Chelsea. If all are fit to play the week after, then imo they all start again.....although I can see Garcia coming in for Barry and Lescott coming in for Nasty, really hope Dzeko isn't brought back instead of Tevez though.

I'm with Shaken and Leo, we need a strong finish now. Best possible team for both.

I'm with Shaken - that is our strongest team and should be played in both games.
Just keep that French twat as far from it as possible.

Bluey - I don't think you can use 'French' and 'twat' together...lazy twat will do and is more PC.

Micah is also nearing fitness & Rodwell too so it would be useful having them on the bench.

Take it no-one likes Nasri then?
Don't really know what to make of Micah anymore tbh Oz......is he worth keeping or selling now? Certainly worth a place on the bench when fit though.

Re: Team for the derby/semi
It's not that I don't like him - I mean, I don't know the guy, but he always seems chirpy enough. Mind, if I was on six figures a week to do very little, I'd be a happy chap too, I suppose. It's just that his abilities rarely pop up during matches. If he could maintain that skill in every game, he'd be a great addition. As it stands, he's a bit of a luxury player.
