But we still want/need that top top quality CB

That's a similar price to what Chelsea would offer...if true, then an extra few £m to get possibly the best young LB in England is what we may need to pay to get him in Jan.

Do we need him now? Probably not...a RB and CB are a must for me...but I've got a feeling MP has  targeted a CB already.

If he is letting Lezza go after 20th Jan, he's either got a stellar signing lined up or he's happy that all his CBs aren't injured.

I'd much prefer the former.

Heard he wanted all his CB's fit, but lets say one of them gets injured, that leaves us with 2 CB's and Micah, and he's so inconsistent with his fitness, those 3 for me are not enough....so I think he may have somebody lined up.

£30m for Luke Shaw, not a cat in hells chance we'll pay that and neither should we....it's utterly ridiculous. The only time we should pay it is if we get offered £20m for Clichy....and not before.

As regards Lescott, we should ONLY let him go if we already have another CB lined up to replace him.....to which i don't think we have.

Pogba for Jovetic....yeah why not. Jovetic is injury prone before he even plays, get rid now i say.

Pellers has said that Lezza won't be going out on loan. If he goes on loan, we'll only save on his wages for 6 months (£2M) whereas we could still sell him for £3M AND save on his wages. There are enough teams at the bottom desperate enough to pay £3M for him (Cardiff, Sunderland, West Ham, Fulham).
