Luke Shaw - Excellent

Luke Shaw - Excellent
How good was he yesterday?
For a kid, his strength, control, passing and defending was excellent. He even shoved Yaya off the ball and that takes some doing.
Sneaky bid next month?
For some reason, MP has this thing over Clichy....and Kolorov is not a natural LB, his defending is awful....so once again, this constant chopping and changing is doing us no good at all.

Have to say that is the first real close look at shawi have had and I would definitely be putting in a bid if that performance was the measure of his ability.

We could have him in the squad, but he still wouldn't get picked in front of Kolorov. I'm afraid my optimism and belief has finally been eroded away.
Time for me to sit down with some Old Peculiar methinks.

Luke Shaw is definitely one we should be looking at, pretty much guarantee we won't be though.

You're such a cynic sometimes Den
Good to see the improvement in your FF team. Getting rid of Nolan before he was red carded should have been handy.

Not a cat in hell's chance because we don't buy British. Unless he lets someone like Lezza go and decides we need some more English players to make up the numbers.

Re: Luke Shaw - Excellent
I don't think we will be either:
1) He seems to have this thing for Kolorov over Clichy
2) Kolorov is an awful LB
3) Clichy not had his best season or consistent starts (not always his fault, as he plays well, then gets dropped).
Neither are top, top class....need anymore evidence to buy a top LB?
Look at the top 5 teams (and United)
Arsenal - Gibbs
Cheslea - Cole
Everton - Baines
Liverpool - Enrique
United - Evra
Is Clichy or Kolorov anywhere near these LB's?
Clichy on his day can be superb and I'd be happy to stick with him - but to favour Kolorov over him, for me, means we are very weak in this area...and need to replace one of them.
